Last year the Sunday School appealed for contributions to World Vision that would change a family’s life forever!. For every $50 dollars donation, World Vision would send 2 hens and a rooster to a family. The gift of 2 hens and a rooster can start a whole brood of chicks that will provide eggs, meat and a source of steady income healthy and self-reliant. They were very successful in reaching their goal and also receiving the support of this church.
The Central United Junior Choir, began in the Fall of 1999, with Sandra Radvanyi as the Director and Marilynne Wear as the Accompanist The members were comprised of children ages 5-15 who were either members of Central United Church or members of the Windsor downtown community. Just imagine this is their 10th Anniversary. Congratulations are definitely in order to all those who have participated. In 2004 they featured a Youth Choir comprised of Junior. These Choir members are from grades 7-12. We have been delighted these past 10 years by many plays, skits and variety shows performed by these groups. Their talents and vitality are enjoyed by all of the Congregation at Central United Church.
New members, age 5 and over are welcome to join any time. There is no audition required. The choir rehearses every Sunday at 9:30 and sings once each month for Sunday services from September to June. Anyone interested in joining may call the church office at 519-253-4641
